The main thing I learned from this course was how to separate relationships – the difference between being Team Leader rather than being one of the lads. It certainly helped develop my confidence and being able to speak up more confidently.

I enjoyed the course and learned a lot more than I already knew, especially in relation to Health & Safety issues. I also learned a lot from Angie, my Assessor. It has made me think a lot more about my job role, especially how to handle staff and get the best out of them. All the certificates I achieved are a bonus.

Doing this course helped me a lot, especially using the ILM website with all of its resources and information. It particularly helped me with skills to control and manage my team in a positive way. I had to look more in depth at Health & Safety and what my responsibilities are in my new role.

I enjoyed doing the course – I found it interesting and helped to develop my skills and knowledge as a Team Leader. It also made me more aware of Health & Safety and how it now affects my role in the workplace.
